A native of Pierce City, and the daughter of the late Claude Benton and Mary Wolfsberger Murray, she was a homemaker and a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Lawrence and Maurice Murray. Survivors include her husband, Roy B. Fulton of Greenville, son Roy L. (Janet) Fulton of Murfreesboro; sisters Rosalie Murray Ralston of Carthage, and Dorathea Murray (Gower) Hull of Kansas City, grandchildren Louis and Chris Fulton of Murfreesboro; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner Hospital for Crippled Children, 610 Texas Galveston, Texas 77550 or the Alzheimer's Assocation, 4205 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37215.

1, 2005 Jared Prater O'Brien Jared Prater O'Brien, 26, of Murfreesboro died Monday, Aug. 29, 2005. Funeral services will be today at 10:30 a.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Allen Jackson officiating. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of Danny O'Brien and wife Lois and Kathy Prater Saltalamachia and husband Mark.

O'Brien attended World Outreach Church and was a retired, firefighter from the U.S. Air Force. He was a 1997 graduate of Oakland High School. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John O'Brien and Virgil Prater. Survivors also include his wife, Jennifer Alsup O'Brien; son Randall Prater O'Brien; brother Adam O'Brien of Murfreesboro; grandmothers Margaret Yeagan and Gloria O'Brien, both of Murfreesboro; and stepsisters Sarah Murfree and husband Bricke and Kate Tomlinson, both of Murfreesboro, and Rachel Tomlinson of Nashville.

Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Price Mallernee, Graham Mallernee, Jeremy Warren, Ben Groce, Kyle Thomas and Chad Lane. Memorials may be made to the Randall Prater O'Brien Foundation at Cavalry Bank or St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis. Woodfin Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

30, 2005, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 11 a.m., Saturday with Brother Bobby Nichols officating. Interment will follow in Riverside Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be after 1 p.m. today and Friday.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Eden Raines of Auburntown; children Anne and Mickey Anderson and Alfred "Tut" and Rhonda Raines, all of Auburntown, and Missy and Lee Wayne Nichols and Thad and Robin Raines, all of Woodbury; loving pet Bailey Mae; grandchildren R.W. Shelton, Daniel and Jennifer Carpenter, Megan, Tori and Jake Raines, Phillip Miller, Jason Holland, Carri Corlew, Tiffany Anderson and Dustin Nichols; brothers Jack Raines of Nashville and Harry Raines of La Vergne; and sisters Jackie Cagle and Thelma Bryd, both of La Vergne, and Jean Thompson of Nashville. Mr. Raines was preceded in death by son George L. "Bubba" Raines; his sister Ruth Maxwell; and brother Mike Raines.

He was a retired postmaster of Auburntown, member and past master of Cannon Lodge member of the Auburntown Lions Club, Auburntown City Council and Cannon County Planning Commisssion, an avid community supporter and a member of the Baptist church.
