Lewis, of Montgomery, and Wilma A. Wright, of Murfreesboro; sister-in-law Mary Goldthwaite Jeffrey, of Edinburgh, Scotland; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Lodge, 1 104 Ireland Way, Birmingham, AL 35205; or Montgomery Humane Society, 1150 John Overton Drive, Montgomery, AL 36110; or to one's favorite charity.

Solozaro, 36, of Dowelltown, was charged with vandalism, aggravated assault and two counts of reckless endangerment after Jason Carpenter of Windellwood Court in Smyrna reported Solozaro allegedly busted out the glass of his car in a road rage incident, Officer Jacoby O'Gwynn reported. Glass got into Carpenter's eyes and onto his two childrerj.

-Solozaro's hearing is set Sept. -30 in General Sessions Court. Assault on officer Yachika Yasmin Murray, 2 1 of 8 1 2 E. Castle was charged with assault on an officer and resisting arrest after she allegedly bit Detective Chris Ashley on the right hand. She allegedly resisted arrest and was treated at MTMC.

Her hearing was set Oct. 8 in General Sessions Court. Theft Lisa Tenpenny of Scotland Drive told police thieves stole a $30,000 bank check and $10,000 cash from her home. Sheriff's Department Theft James Brad Pursell of Auburntown reported his 2001 Yamaha four-wheeler was stolen after, he left it on Milton Road after it overheated. Deputy Matt Baldwin pursued the driver of a four-wheeler matching the description on Richr land Richardson Road.

The driver traveled in a field off West Trimble Road. Loss was estimated at $2,500. Thieves stole 20-inch chrome wheels from Jeremy Alexander of Andover Street in Smyrna. Value was set at $1,700. The following reports were on file this morning at the listed agencies.

Murfreesboro Police Child neglect A 1 -year-old child was playing in the road on West Lokey Avenue. Officer Tommy Roberts found a woman who cussed a 3-year-. old, whom she believed opened the door. The grandmother who had custody of three children was at work. The woman agreed to stay with the children, ages 1, 3 and 7 months.

Aggravated assault Joshua Montell Reffegee, 18of Franklin, and Charles Alonzo McKinney, 24, of Franklin, were charged with felony vandalism and aggravated assault after a fight involving about 40 people at the Woods of Greenland Apartments on Greenland Drive. Victim Dustin Crawford, 19, of Cumberland, suffered a severe cut to his forehead beside his left eye, Officer RichanJ Presley reported. He was treated at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Second victim James Willie Nelson, 23, of Franklin, was struck in the face with a beer bottle. Victim Sarah Crawford of Center Pointe told officers someone threw a beer bottle through the.

Juliet, was charged with aggravated assault after she allegedly struck Noah Weakley of Arrow Lane Medical Center in Nashville after an extended illness, will.be 11 a.m. Wednesday at High's Chapel in McMinnville, with burial 1 p.m.

at Howard Cemetery in White County. Bobby Wheeler is the officiant. A native of White County, he was the son of the late Turney Howard and Roxanne Walker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Moore. Heris survived by daughters Brenda Clark, of Chattanooga, Annette Howard Cooper, of McMinnville, and Sharon Pirtle, of Murfreesboro; sons Robert Howard, of Marietta, and Sam my Howard, of Morrison; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister Edna Officer, of Sparta.

Several nieces and nephews, also survive. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was a veteran of World War II. He was a retired teacher and farmer who worked at Warren County and Taft Youth Center. Military Rites by American Legion Post 173 VFW Post 5064.

A flag will drape the casket. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. today at High's Funeral Home in McMinnville and 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

Nancy Jean Waldron Driggers Services for Nancy Jean Waldron Driggers, 46, of Murfreesboro, who died Sunday, Aug. 24, .2003, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Terry Davenport will officiate. A native of Rutherford County, she is survived by mother Virginia Waldron, of Murfreesboro; sister Theresa (Lewis) McKee, of Murfreesboro; niece Jaime Millar; nephew Jon McKee; and fiance David Clark, of Brentwood. Ms. Driggers was a member of the Blackman Church of Christ. Her father was the late Clarence Waldron, who died in 1989.
