James and Barney Armstrong both of Leonard A memorial service for Leonard Friedman, retired president and chief executive officer of Colonial based in Woodbury, was held today in New York City. Friedman and another man, both licensed pilots, were killed Nov. 19 when the private plane in which they I were flying crashed off the Florida coast. The cause of the crash is un-determined. A former resident of Murfreesboro, Friedman served with the company for 22 years before retiring to in 1978.
